Purpose of the Radiance website
The original idea of the website was to be a spiritual, emotional and
intellectual resource centre. To
achieve this goal, I wanted to provide a complete web hosting service for individuals and
organisations involved in offering professional services, e.g. consulting, counseling,
design.
So far, I have designed two sites for friends, which are included here. All the other
pages are completely my own. The current list of pages may be found at index of pages.
As most of you know, there are many organisations offering free webspace, and it is not my intention
to compete with those offers. I trust that you will find my website interesting -- I am certainly
enjoying developing it, and have learnt a lot about webdesign, graphics etc in the processs. |

The Choice of Name
After due reflection, the name Radiance was chosen because of the
positive connotation it has, with clear references found in the Bible:-

Quoting from Hebrews 1:2-4:
"...but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of
all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his
being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs."
