Morocco

North Africa attracts many visitors looking for sun and sea -- Morocco is one of the countries there which welcomes tourists gladly.

My wife and I spent a week there, enjoying the sun and ocean at Agaddir, but also taking part in a couple of bus tours into the "real" Morocco. We visited in February, at the height of the almond blossom season, which was wonderful.

Inland, Morocco still seems unchanged since centuries: the land is dry and desolate, and people herd their sheep, and ride on donkeys.
